	Defending NFL champions Dempo SC brought their I-League championship campaign back on track with a late 2-1 victory against Phagwara's JCT in a Round 14 match at the Nehru Stadium, Margao. After two losses in a row Dempo today moved to 30 points from 14 matches, four clear of closest rivals Churchill Brothers on 26, who lost later in the day to Mohun Bagan; while JCT remain third with 25 points from the same number of matches and a mountain to climb if they want to win the inaugural I-League title. The man who made the difference for Dempo today was Indian international Climax Lawrence, who went on to score both his teams goals, besides playing a crucial role in midfield.
