I've been following www.IndianFootball.com (IFC) for more than 8 years. This is the only website that archives inside out of Indian football, be it statistics, news, pictures, et al.

Way back in 2000, while nonchalantly browsing IFC, I was amazed to see my friend's picture on the website. My friend at that time was playing for an I Division I-League (erstwhile National Football League) club. Immediately, I shared the link. Those were the early days of internet and not all the footballers were net savvy.

I realized that this website is thinking about Indian football and really doing its bit to promote the game!

Cut to 2008, I have grown my interest towards the game to a passionate level via forming a football team that plays in the corporate soccer tourneys, joining football forums, and writing for few websites.

Heard that Pune along with Kolhapur will host the II Division I-League. I thought that this is the right time to do something in a national level. I immediately touch-based with the editor-in-chief of IFC, Arunava. Took the initial assignment of writing an article for the newly formed club in Pune, Pune Football Club and also covered the All India Abhijeet Kadam Memorial Football Tournament.

I am extremely glad to be a part of the IFC team. IFC is a decade old now and I wish every success to IFC! It is known to all the football lovers in the country and I keep hearing nothing but good things about IFC. This is the duty of us, the team to carry on the good work and bring India in the soccer map of the world.
