Correspondent (New Delhi)

! Estupendo! Fabuloso! Excelente! Y! Felicitación! to IndianFootball.Com for completing 10 glorious years.
I really feel great to be associated with India’s premier football website whose popularity is increasing by each passing day. IndianFootball.Com is the mirror when it comes to showcase Indian football around the world.
Being a football player I used to update myself what’s happening in football around the world. One day as I was surfing, I thought is there any website that has all the records regarding, what is happening in Indian football. I used to get the information and news about Indian football only through newspapers. As I was surfing I found this website and went through it. I was not only surprised but happy too. I found that this website has all the records, and it does not only cover popular and big tournaments but local leagues too. From that day I became a regular visitor of this website.
I even told my friends about this and they also became regular visitors of this website. When I came to know that whoever has the passion can join this website and contribute to it. I discussed about this with one of my friends. I was again surprised when he told me that he was working as a Delhi correspondent for IndianFootball.Com. He was none other than Nitin Pant our former Delhi correspondent. He then advised me to join this website. I found a golden opportunity to work for the upliftment of Indian football. Then I expressed my desire to work with IndianFootball.Com to Arunava.. After exchanging couple of emails, he then offered me to work for IndianFootball.Com and the rest is history.
It was not so difficult for me to collect news for IndianFootball.Com as I was playing for the Delhi state and Delhi Soccer League. It was a complete package for me and satisfaction was the best thing I got after joining this organization. I started keeping myself up to date with whatever happened in Delhi in terms of football. It was very interesting to me, to find people who are passionate for this game and wants to add a helping hand in order to uplift Indian football. And I, being part of this passionate team, feel very proud. I would like to mention an incident during the Nehru Cup held in Delhi. I was sitting and watching the match between India and Bangladesh and a man sitting next to me introduced himself as an ESPN correspondent, while I myself introduced me as an IndianFootball.Com correspondent. He congratulated me and even said “your team is doing a great job and we regularly check the news at IndianFootball.Com”. This was the first incidents, but many others followed.
I really want to thank Nitin Pant who helped me a lot in my initial stage with incidents. I also had the luck to work with Arunava during the Durand Cup 2007. His enthusiasm and energy is motivation for all of us and it wouldn’t be wrong to mention that, he is the soul of IndianFootball.Com.
I really congratulate each and every member of the IndianFootball.Com team. Time to celebrate guys! Cheers!
