Today is a very proud moment for all of us here at IndianFootball.Com (IFC), and I would like to start off by congratulating the entire team.

While a lot of people have contributed to the success of this website, the real credit no doubt goes to Arunava. It was his dream and vision 10 years ago that has made IFC a name to reckon with today, not just on the Indian football scene, but on the international front as well. I just want all of you to sit back and think for a moment – one man putting in his own hard earned money, hours of work and several nights in front of the computer – all for his love for Indian football, and the dream to take it further. Hats off Arun, Indian football owes a big thank you to you, and all those who do not realize it today, will do so soon!

At this point, it would be extremely unfair to not mention the one man without whose support the site would not be where it is today – Chris. The creative guru, Chris is responsible for the site’s fantastic graphics and designs. He has worked on several specials as well, like the I-League special. Do have a look if you have not already – the idea is to make it as appealing and user friendly as possible. As always, any suggestions are always welcome!

As far as I am concerned, it has been over five years now that I have been associated with the site. And believe you me; it’s the one thing I am the most proud of. It feels great to be working with a great bunch of guys for something that is so close to our heart. I know this is something I will forever cherish – IFC is an integral part of me, and will remain so.

While this is a great moment for us, we assure you this is only the start. IFC has a long way to go, and we do have several exciting plans lined up for the future. Our focus is simple: to be the one place you will find absolutely anything you want to know about Indian football. However, there is a larger picture as well: we all hope to see India move up the FIFA rankings, and we intend to play a key role to help realize this dream. As always, please keep writing to us with your suggestions – it’s our country after all, and we’re in this together!

Finally, I hope you do understand that it is true after all – we do love to football you!
