Bangladesh coach Shahidur Rahman Chowdury has said that they expect a win against India in tomorrow’s semifinal.

He also noted that he do not want to know whether it’s the Under 23 or the senior team that they are playing.

“I do not want to know whether they are Under 23 or the senior national team. The thing I know is that they are representing India in this tournament.”

“Our main target is to win the game. We have analyzed their game and we know their weakness and we would utilize them.”

“Our main target has been to win the title. We completed the first phase. Now we have the second phase in our hand to qualify for the third phase. So we definitely would try our level best to win the title.”

Bangladesh won the championship back in 2003 when they hosted the event for the first time. They were beaten twice in the final by India; first in 1999 and then in 2005. Bangladesh beat India 2-1 in the semifinal of 2003, to enter the final and beat Maldives on penalties to lift the trophy.
