10th NSF MM Trophy from Oct 1

The 10th edition of the NSF Martyrs Memorial trophy will kick off on October 1 at Kohima local ground.
ASU's secretary games and sports, Sikho Thou, informed that the Martyr’s Memorial Trophy is annually organized by the Angami Students Union, in profound remembrance and honour of two students comrades Lt. Kekuojalie and Lt. Vikhozo, who made the supreme sacrifices in the year 1986, while on the duty call of the Naga Students Federation and its fight for justice and rights of the students community.
The trophy has, since then over the years turned out to be one of the most popular and favourate amongst the local Nagaland tournaments, attracting the highest number of participating teams from near and far.
The Union while venturing to raise the playing standards and image of the trophy has extended invitations to few selected local teams, basing on the team's performance in the past editions of the trophy, alongside efforts are also on to bring team from the neighboring states.
The last date for the submission of entry forms is fixed on September 23 and any information may also be availed from the sports secretary ASU at 9856766546(M).
Entry forms and necessary information relating to the tournament are available at the following places Kohima – Sports World (Taxi stand), Star Sports (B.O.C), Belho and Co (opposition Kohima college) and ASU Office (Below AIR Station, Kohma) and Dimapur - Kings Sports (Church road) and Classic Bakery (Chumukedima 2nd gate).
