Chopra now a Cardiff player

PIO Michael Chopra has completed his £4 Million move from Premier League side Sunderland AFC to the Championships Cardiff City FC.
Chopra returns to Cardiff City FC after having left the club for Sunderland AFC in a record £5 Million transfer two seasons ago after having scored 22 goals for the Welsh club in the 2006/07 season.
Chopra didn't really make it at Sunderland and was loaned back to Cardiff for a few games in November 2008 and then for the remainder of the 2008/09 season in January with a clause that his loan move would become permanent in the summer. Now "Chops", as he is fondly called, is back at Cardiff and aims to win promotion for the club which it has aimed but hasn't achieved in the last few years.
Chopra, the only Player of Indian Origin to have played in the Premiership and also to score in England's highest division, aims to put his career back on track which has faced numerous problems in the recent past. The sad highlight being him admitted to the Sporting Chance clinic last August.
Sadly Chopra has in the past said that he isn't interested to play for India, but with changed FIFA regulations it still is possible. And who knows, maybe one day we will see Michael in an India shirt.
