Football Seminar in Calcutta

The Valerian Soccer Foundation will organise a seminar on July 5 to comemmorate Mohammedan Sporting's first Calcutta Football League title in 1934.
The Valerian Soccer Foundation is a soccer study and research centre organisation which researches about Indian football and amongst other things publishes the "90 Minutes" soccer journal.
The organisation will host the Seminar "Victory after 75 years - Mohammedan Sporting Club's first Calcutta Football League (1934) win as first Indian team in historical perspective” at the Abanindra Sabhaghar, Charukala Bhaban, Nandan Campus in Calcutta on July 5 at 17.00 IST.
Amongst the speakers will be
Prof. Kausik Bandyopadhay
(Reader, History, West Bengal State University & Associated Editor,Soccer and Society, London)
Prof. Mohammed Suleiman Khurshid
(Head of the Department, History, City College & former President and General Secretary, Mohammedan Sporting Club)
The Seminar will be presided by Sayed Mohammed Masih, Chief Government Whip, Government of West Bengal.
The Guest of Honour will be Mushtaque Ahmed Siddique, the senior Vice-President of Mohammedan Sporting Club.
