List of Winners/Runners-Up of the South Asian Games:
The "South-Asian Federation" Games was first held in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu in 1984.
India, three times champion, won the gold medal in 1985 in Dhaka, in 1987 in Calcutta & in 1995 in Madras.
Since the 10th South Asian Games in 2006 the SAF Games have been renamed to South Asian Games.
